Meeting A Success

We would like to thank all who attended the Crocus Grove Sun Club / Naturist Legacy Inc. general meeting on September 11th. There were 45 individuals present.

For those who were unable to be with us on Saturday, a full report about the meeting will soon be forthcoming....

Many of you have expressed an interest in learning how much money has now been raised. As you may recall, approximately $150,000 in pledges were made by members in support of the Legacy Project. As of Monday, $140,000 of that amount now resides in our credit union account, which in our estimation is a VERY good start! We expect that we will receive cheques for most of the remaining unfulfilled pledges soon, which should put us a bit above the $150,000 mark.

Again, this is a very good start, but it's ONLY a start. We have a long way to go yet before we hit our $250,000 fundraising target. The speed with which we establish infrastructure and amenities on our new land — and the quality of that new infrastructure and those new amenities — will be heavily dependent upon the budget we have to work with. It's simple math. A larger budget will mean nicer amenities for you to enjoy sooner.
