Our first spring at the new park
We had an aggressive construction and development agenda planned for Naturist Legacy Park in 2011 and were anxious to get started as soon as possible. The snow had receded sufficiently by the second week of April so that we could drive about half way into the park. We immediately began measuring and marking seasonal lot boundaries for our new campground. Just over a week later the roads were still a bit muddy but were now free of snow. Members were invited to come and choose their lots. Meanwhile, my wife and I began working on our own seasonal lot. We leveled our cottage, opened our tent trailer and generally made our comfy little place livable again. We then re-built our front deck and refilled our planter with soil. By the time the crocuses emerged from the warming soil we were ready for our first full season at Naturist Legacy Park. The roads were firm and dry by the end of April. These photographs from my personal collection were taken in April 2011. Click or tap to enlarge (opens in new tab / window).
