Meeting Report

An important general membership meeting for Crocus Grove Sun Club and Naturist Legacy Inc. was held on September 11, 2010.... Four major subjects were on the agenda (PDF):

(1) The incorporation of Naturist Legacy Inc.
(2) The wrapping up of Crocus Grove Sun Club's business matters
(3) The results of our summer-long land search
(4) The redemption of member pledges

Members were presented with a brief overview of the efforts that were required to incorporate Naturist Legacy Inc. Votes were taken to accept the by-laws (PDF) and first directors.

Since Naturist Legacy Inc. will now be responsible for all financial and membership matters, motions were presented and accepted that wrapped up Crocus Grove Sun Club's involvement in those areas. Members also voted to change the AANR charter from Crocus Grove Sun Club to Naturist Legacy Inc.

A report (PDF) was presented which detailed the extensive land search conducted during the summer. It was announced that a tentative deal had been reached to purchase an 80-acre property.

Members were asked to write cheques to match the pledges they had made four months earlier at the May 2nd meeting. Nearly the full amount of those pledges was in hand by the end of the meeting.

The outgoing board of Crocus Grove Sun Club and the new board of Naturist Legacy Inc. would like to thank members for their attendance and support.
